On December 11, a round table was held in Astana, where the Roadmap for the development of exports of Kazakh fat and oil products for 2026-2028 was officially presented, which was developed by our QAZAQ-ASTYQ GROUP oil extraction plant.
The event was attended by representatives of government agencies, processing enterprises of the industry, exporters, business associations and international partners.
Representatives of government agencies (the Ministry of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan, QazTrade, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Kazakhstan, JSC NC KTZ, JSC NMH Baiterek and others), and business (the National Association of Oilseed Processors, the Association of Seed Growers of Kazakhstan) participated in the development of the Roadmap. International partners are also representatives of the European Union and the ITC.
"The Roadmap provides for a set of measures for the development of the industry for the next three years," said the commercial director of the QAZAQ-ASTYQ GROUP oil extraction plant. Alexander BUZHENITSA. – Among such measures is the elimination of the shortage of raw materials, capacities and logistics for oilseeds.
According to the National Association of Oilseed Processors, the Roadmap should help increase exports of fat and oil products to $1 billion by 2028, as well as expand market opportunities for the sale of high-value-added products, which should make a significant contribution to the economic and social development of the country. Currently, Kazakhstan is consistently strengthening its position in the global agri-food market: the country is one of the TOP 10 global exporters of sunflower oil, as well as one of the TOP 3 suppliers of sunflower meal to the European Union. Today, Kazakhstan's fat and oil products are exported to more than 20 countries around the world.
