First Vice Minister of Labor Akmadi SARBASOV visited our Qazaq Astyq Group oil extraction plant during his working visit to Abay region.

First of all, the general Director of the enterprise Nikolay Ushakov acquainted the delegation members with the production process. Representatives of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection were impressed by the modern plant.

Now the company has reached 100% of its capacity. 1000 tons of sunflower seeds are processed per day. Commissioning of the second sunflower oil refining plant is scheduled for December 2025. And in 2027, the third stage of the company's development is planned – the construction and launch of a plant for the production of fat substitutes.

– At the moment we have 440 employees. Starting from January 1, the issue of increasing wages and increasing jobs will be considered. We still have all the social packages, free transportation of employees and free meals. Special attention is paid to labor protection. Since the oil extraction plant is classified as a hazardous production facility, " Nikolai Ushakov emphasized.

Akmadi Sarbasov confirmed that the enterprises of the Abay region, in general, comply with the requirements of the legislation on ensuring labor safety.

– The main purpose of our visit is to get acquainted with the current situation in the social and labor sphere. To do this, we visit enterprises in the region, where we got acquainted with the working conditions of employees and social protection. The main task is safe work. We got acquainted with the current state of affairs on creating safe working conditions, and in general, employers meet these requirements. It is very important to instill a culture of safe work, " concluded Akmadi Sarbasov.
