We are looking for a Chief Technologist for a large QAZAQ-ASTYQ GROUP oil extraction plant

📍 Abai region, Semey city, Kazakhstan
🏭 Sunflower oil production

Responsibilities:

Process control: extraction, hydration (including enzyme), neutralization, bleaching, deodorization, packaging
Technological discipline control and deviation analysis
Reduction of oil losses and optimization of resources (raw materials, reagents, energy);
Maintenance of technological documentation and participation in the development of regulations;
Product quality assurance (ISO 9001, ISO 22000, HACCP);
Preparation of reports, calculation of production indicators;
Participation in the modernization and implementation of new technologies;
Monitoring of occupational safety and industrial safety requirements;

Requirements:

Higher education (food technology / chemical technology / processing of raw materials);
At least 5 years of experience in the fat and oil industry;
Work experience as a Chief Technologist or production manager (2-3 years);
Knowledge of oil extraction and refining technologies;
Experience working with international quality standards;

It will be an advantage:
Experience in implementing enzyme hydration and physical refining;
Participation in modernization projects;
Knowledge of technical English (sufficient for working with equipment and documentation);
Knowledge of Chinese will be an advantage.
